Salve,
I own now one of these interesting LHP 219 radios. I have only the radio, no handset or maual. So I am searching for pin connection of audio connector to fit up a handset.
Cheers,
John

Re: Bel LHP 219
Salve All,
yesterday I repaired my LHP 219.
The fault was no modulation in AM and SSB. At first I checked if transmitter produces power. That is ok after measuring with power Meter and Dummy Load. Next step was to check if cassette >N43713 Transmit Audio and Tone Generator< is receiving Audio from Microfone and working correct. In this stage is all OK and modulation is going to >N43712 Transmitter IF<. Here in this cassette I located the fault. Modulation comes to IC1 >CA3028A< and stops here, nothing comes out of it. So I checked with oscilloscope the levels at PCB Connectors and found a damaged resistor, signal is coming on and will not go further. It is the red marked 2K7 resistor in attached picture, it's value was extremely increased. After changing with new one, radio is back in to live.
As an attachement a picture from radios cassette section on hingend chassis. Cassettes can easily removed when the black painted srews are loosed and module extractors ore two longer M3 screws are in green marked extracting positions.
Another picture shows position of damaged resistor in red oval.
The pdf is schematic of Handset for LHP 219.
Cheers,
John
