PRC 80

here are news from my faulty PRC80. Reparation is done and radio is back into live. I had a nice QSO with a friend runnig his SEM35 radio on 6m Band.

What was wrong with my PRC80? Fault was on PSU Card. There were some voltages are missing.

When I bought this radio I couldn't check if it's working or defect, so it was a risky buy.


After a few measurements I found that IC >U2< CD4050 was defect. After replacement with new one I powered up the radio and now it is working correct. All Voltages are present and this project is finished.
