For your information: 6th December this year was Finland's 100 th Independence Day.
Finnish Radio Amateurs arranged "PRT OH 100", a happening dedicated to veterans of war, especially radio operators. A summary of this is found in address putkiradiomuseo.fi/PRT and then under title PRT OH100 KOOTUT SELITYKSET. Worth trying! Everything is written in Finnish, but pictures tell quite a lot. Here some comments:
- OH3KRB, operating the first transistorized command set "Sipi", mid-60ies,
power abt. 1 W,
- OI3V, picture showing left a "Tyko" (LV 302, FM portable, end 50ies and WW II
VRFK, Finnish 1,8 Watt portable CW and AM set,
- OH 6 FA, Swedish RA 200, apparently from 70ies, VRFK and a real rarity,
Russian field station 6PK, captured in Winter War 1939-1940
- OH3LS, Japanese "Anritsu" from 70ies, command set used by the Finnish
Army,
- OF6NL, Finnish communications receiver VRLK, year 1943 and a rarity,
Russian agent Radio from WW II, "Sever".
- OH3MY, radio station FuGX, used in Luftwaffe and in Finland's air force
during WWII, in airplanes Messerschmitt Me-109 and Junkers Ju-88,
- OH7SV, Finnish command set "Kyynel", WWII,
